This piece features two original pressed glass horses lying rest in a meadow surrounded by a lush surrounding. I find the glass characters that I feature from a variety of sources. Sometimes I search for a long time for a specific character and sometimes it is fate.  These two horses were waiting for me on the top of a barrel of old gray glass outside the glass studio at The Penland School of Crafts when I taught there in 2015.
