This piece was created for the “Melting Point” exhibition on view through September 3rd at Heller Gallery and Ferrin Contemporary. The show features glass and ceramics which utilize the melting point as a key element to their work. The cornucopia was an original antique piece made by the Jeannette Glass Company of Pennysylvania. The color “shell” was only produced from 1958-1959.
